Welcome back! This week was not extremely productive, however it was a very packed week with assignments for Laurel, Jenna, and I, so, we had no time to really focus on our genius hour this week. We did not even talk about our plan for the week until Thursday. It has been just a stressful week, so we all agreed to back off our project for the week. However, we were still productive on Thursday.
We traveled around the school and hung up or flyers we made the prior week. These flyers will hopefully be good advertisment and will get the word out about our future prep night. We hung them quite literally everywhere in the school, so it should catch some peoples eyes and start to get talked about. We are still very hopeful for this project, and even though this week wasn't quite productive as previous weeks, it was still a vital step in our plan. Without advertisement no-one would know about the night, and we wouldn't have anyone show up.
Overall, this week was a good one, and we did get something done. We did not follow our action plan this week because we were pushed back a week. We were supposed to start planning out the night fully with teachers, however we plan to accomplish this next week. We will be working on our genius hour much more next week, because the actual night is this month! We just need to start having better time management as a group. In conclusion, the future prep night is still on the road for success!
